Those unexpected, in-between, silly, and heart-swelling and sometimes even hopelessly romantic moments are my favorite to capture. I believe it’s so important for you to feel like you can be yourselves with me - I want to blend into your guest list. I want to be able catch you being you on the other side of my lens. Open-hearted and free. Relaxed. Unposed.

Hi, I’m Jamie.

I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade, but I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. As a teen, I learned the tricks of the dark room trade, in college I studied photography in Rome under an Italian photojournalist, and I hold a B.A. in Visual Communication.

Making photographs has always been a passion of mine, but making it a career has been the greatest thing in the world. In 2015, I jumped ship at my corporate job to pursue wedding photography full time. It felt like leaping out of an airplane and not knowing if your parachute was going to deploy.

Sometimes taking chances can be magical.

Since then, I've photographed weddings & couples all over Maine, throughout New England, in New York City, Arizona, Texas, the Pacific Northwest, and internationally. My style of imagery is photojournalistic in nature with an editorial aesthetic. I love natural light, and I love to shoot with film.

In 2018 I married a handsome lobsterman named Lawrence, and together we live in beautiful Midcoast Maine with our two children Lucien and Maisy, and our energetic springer spaniel, Scout. They keep us on our toes!
